There are 9 subspecies of Giraffe and in Kenya I found one of the rarest and most beautiful, the Maasai Giraffe. With fewer than 500 they are endangered yet here, at Maasai Mara they thrive amongst many other species. With their distinctive beautiful almost oak leaf patterning they are indeed a sight to behold
