My trip to Kenya was all about aiming to see new species and the flamingoes that inhabit Lake Nakuru in particular. As well as the thousands of birds on the lake I was particularly attracted to the soft, complimentary pastel colours at first light and these two, scouring the bottom for shrimp and plankton really caught my eye.
