The kingfishers are so aptly named. The speed at which they spot their prey, swoop, making adjustments for the diffraction of the water, catch and then surface again has to be seen through a lens - the eye just doesn't get it all. This shot captures wonderfully the exit and splashes in the water with the catch safely held as he heads for his perch to enjoy the spoils.
